Commemorate America 250 and discover the history in your own backyard at the College Park Aviation Museum!
M-NCPPC invites you to free Community Days at historic sites and museums throughout Prince George’s County. Explore local stories, meet community partners, and experience the people and places that make our county’s history so unique.
You can also get your Pastport to History stamped on Community Days!
Pack a picnic lunch, bring your people, and enjoy free activities designed for all ages!
FREE activities may include:
- 12:30 pm–2 pm | Maryland State Police helicopter fly-in (weather permitting)
- 11 am | Rosie Revere aviation story and craft
- 1 pm | Lakeland book reading then test your skills with Ozobot robotic coding
- 11 am-4 pm | Explore Lakeland’s history and legacy with Reclaiming our Space: The Story of Lakeland
- 11 am-4 pm | Be a curator at the Community Collections Wall
- Free ice cream to the first 100 guests
